This evening, the SSLOA held their annual installation banquet hosted by the LaFayette Fire Department. It was a great meal catered by Galloway’s BBQ and Catering. We would like to once again CONGRATULATE Southwood Volunteer Fire Dept.’s, Vinnie Carroll, as this year’s Bill Barden Award winner.

Thank you to Onondaga County Emergency Management Coordinator, Ron Wheatley, for swearing in the Officers of 2023.

Southern Section Line Officers President Rick Nemier of Nedrow presents our own Vincent Carroll the Bill Barden Award for 2022. Southwood FD will proudly display the bell for the next year until a new recipient is selected.. Again, congratulations to Vinnie Carroll on htis very prestiges award.
